Job summary

Everybody Health & Leisure is seeking a Catering Assistant on a casual zero-hours basis at Holmes Chapel Community Centre. You will greet customers, prepare and serve drinks, take orders, and support food service in a busy café environment.

This role offers flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends with opportunities for training and staff benefits such as gym discounts and health support.

Qualifications

• Experience making and serving high-quality coffee and drinks.
• Experience serving food and basic food prep.
• Able to operate till and handle transactions.
• Able to restock and maintain vending machines.

We’re looking for a Café Assistant to join our team and help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for everyone who visits. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in good service, and likes being part of a busy, friendly environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other drinks
• Serving food and supporting basic food preparation
• Operating the till and handling customer transactions
• Restocking and maintaining vending machines

What we’re looking for

• A positive, approachable manner
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and support different tasks across the café
