Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an Events Project Manager based in Marlow. This pivotal role involves coordinating and delivering events from contract implementation to final billing, ensuring excellent service aligning with client expectations. The suitable candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in event management, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and may be required to travel internationally once a month. Hybrid working is available after a probation period.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience within an events management role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client requirements in line with program/project objectives.
  • Develop and ensure key milestones are met for each project.
  • Provide key client and project team communications to support project planning.
  • Oversee project coordination team to deliver optimum participation and delegate satisfaction.
  • Ensure use of company project management tools and processes.
  • Manage venue logistics including rooming, meeting space, F&B requirements.
  • Manage suppliers and ensure contracted services are delivered to budget.
  • Conduct site inspections and supplier planning meetings if required.
  • Manage project and staff on site during events.
  • Ensure events comply with relevant industry and country regulations.
  • Provide client with SLA or cost-saving reports.
  • Conduct project debrief with client.

Events Project Manager

Cantello Tayler Recruitment is recruiting for an Events Project Manager to join our client based in Marlow. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, the role of Event Project Manager is pivotal, with full responsibility for coordination and delivery of clients' events from contract implementation to final billing, and with the expectation of providing excellent service in line with client expectations and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client requirements in line with program/project objectives
  • Develop and ensure key milestones are met for each project
  • Provide key client and project team communications to support project planning
  • Oversee project coordination team to deliver optimum participation and delegate satisfaction
  • Ensure use of company project management tools and processes
  • Manage venue logistics including rooming, meeting space, F&B requirements; negotiate additional hotel needs; monitor attrition dates and cancellation policies
  • Manage suppliers, including destination management company, travel provider(s), designers, printers and other third‑party contractors, ensuring contracted services are monitored and delivered to budget
  • Travel to conduct site inspections and supplier planning meetings if required
  • Travel on site as part of delivery team if required; manage project and staff on site
  • Ensure events are delivered in compliance with relevant industry and country regulations and Health & Safety regulations
  • Work with Head of Business Operations to provide client with SLA or cost‑saving reports
  • Conduct project debrief with client
Qualifications
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • 3–5 years' experience within an events management role
  • Previous experience of Cvent Technology platform desirable
Travel & Working Conditions
  • International travel approximately once a month
  • Hybrid working available after passing 6‑month probation period
