Job summary

THE·TEAM is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Operations Team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will help ensure event services and equipment are sourced, contracted and maintained, working closely with suppliers to establish contracts and keep gear ready for use.

This role is office-based, Monday to Friday, with potential for occasional weekend work and anti-social hours during event delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in mass participation sports operations or projects is preferred.
• Clear communicator who is organised and detail-oriented.
• Curious, asks good questions and takes initiative.
• Comfortable juggling priorities and working in a fast-moving environment.
• Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a team.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.
• Familiarity with MS Office and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Secure and contract event suppliers.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to move projects forward.
• Recruit and manage volunteers.
• Create and review contractor booking forms with attention to detail.
• Solve problems and keep projects on track.
• Manage timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
• Assist in warehouse and event equipment management.
• Support in producing Event Risk Assessments and Management Plans.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
