Job summary

THE-TEAM is seeking an Operations Assistant to join the Operations Team. You will help ensure event services and equipment are sourced, contracted and maintained, working with suppliers to secure contracts and ensuring gear is ready for use.

Based in our office, the role involves fast-paced delivery, weekend work, and longer hours during events. You will support project progression and collaborate across the team to deliver market-leading, award-winning events.

Qualifications

• Experience in mass participation sports operations or project focus.
• Clear communicator, organised and detail-oriented.
• Curious, asks good questions, takes initiative.
• Able to juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Enjoys collaborating and delivering to deadlines.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office programs and able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Help secure and contract event suppliers.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to progress projects.
• Recruit and manage volunteers.
• Create and review contractor booking forms.
• Solve problems and keep projects on track.
• Manage timelines and priorities.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners.
• Help manage the warehouse and event equipment.
• Build, deliver and pack down events within tight timelines.
• Produce Event Risk Assessments and Event Management Plans.
• Pitch in wherever needed – we are a team.
