Job summary

UKHospitality seeks a detail-oriented events and marketing assistant to support delivery of large and small events. You will help with planning, venue liaison, registrations, sponsor coordination and post-event surveys, while creating marketing materials and updating channels.

The role offers opportunities to work across events, marketing and member engagement in a small, collaborative team with recognition for excellence and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events from planning to delivery.
• Understanding of marketing channels and how to promote events.
• Ability to create engaging content for emails, websites and social media.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end planning and delivery of UKHospitality’s major events, including venue liaison, supplier management, delegate registration and on-the-day logistics.
• Maintain regular communication with event delegates and respond to queries, share event details and collect feedback after events.
• Assist in organising smaller networking and member events throughout the year.
• Coordinate event sponsorships and ensure activations and benefits are fulfilled.
• Monitor event budgets to ensure delivery stays within scope.
