Job summary

The Social Hub in Glasgow, hired through Hosco, is seeking an M&E Operations Host to manage event spaces, serve food and drinks, and provide top-tier guest service across multiple venues. You will set up and break down areas, handle AV questions, and act as a local concierge for guests exploring the city.

We look for at least 1 year in event operations, a hands-on, positive attitude, and the ability to work solo when needed. UK work eligibility is required and a living wage hourly rate applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in event operations.
• Flexible with shifts—morning and evening.
• Fluent in English; UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and act as face of events delivery at the hotel.
• Set up and break down event spaces before and after events.
• Serve food and drinks at events across venues.
• Monitor and maintain event equipment and assist with AV as needed.
• Keep spaces tidy and ready for the next shift.
• Advise guests on local sights and options and assist with requests.
