Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a part-time Food Experience Host in Glasgow to deliver outstanding hospitality across bars, cafés, events and spaces. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks to high standards and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes guest experience, product knowledge, teamwork and a proactive, adaptable approach across multiple service areas within our Campus venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within premium hospitality, restaurants, bars, events, private members' clubs or similar customer-focused environments.
• Strong food and beverage service skills, with bar, cocktail, barista or hospitality experience desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach with the ability to work across multiple service areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, creating engaging and memorable experiences for all guests.
• Welcome customers warmly, process orders, and prepare and serve food and beverages to the highest standards.
• Operate across a variety of hospitality environments, including bars, cafés, events and meeting spaces.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation, food safety and health & safety in all front and back-of-house areas.
• Build product knowledge and confidently recommend food and drink options to customers.
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively resolve service issues.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all food and beverages meet required standards before service.
• Promote a collaborative One Team culture and support colleagues across the wider Campus operation when required.
• Follow food safety procedures, allergen controls, labelling requirements and health & safety practices.
• Champion colleague wellbeing, engagement and positive working practices.
