Job summary

Digital Catapult in Belfast is seeking an Events Associate to join the Marcomms team to deliver a range of internal and external events across the UK Digital Twin Centre programme. You will coordinate logistics, help shape content and ensure an exceptional guest experience for hybrid, in-person and online events.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering events in physical and virtual settings.
• Strong commitment to high-quality, seamless service delivery.
• Experience assisting with event content design.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and outside normal office times.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of DDA compliance and event health and safety is advantageous.
• Experience in tech/manufacturing/aerospace/defence sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Scope, define, create and produce events to meet objectives in collaboration with the NI Marketing & Communications Manager and UK Digital Twin Centre team.
• Plan, develop and deliver in-person, hybrid or online showcase events and demo days for accelerator programmes.
• Manage events execution holistically ensuring content, agenda and logistics run seamlessly and issues are resolved to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support events marketing activities to reach key audiences.
• Coordinate day-to-day running of events across the programme including room setup, registrations, speakers, catering, AV, materials, client relations and feedback.
• Ensure hosted or co-hosted events align with UK Digital Twin Centre and Digital Catapult objectives and target audiences.
• Handle catering, budget, staffing rosters and coordinate suppliers on event days.
