Job summary

Hilton Belfast is seeking a Conference and Banqueting Associate to play a vital role in ensuring event spaces are prepared to the highest standard, supporting food and beverage service, and assisting in all aspects of event service.

You will set up and break down spaces, assist with catering, coordinate with kitchen and service teams, maintain hygiene standards, and deliver attentive guest service throughout conferences, banquets, and celebrations.

Qualifications

• Deep interest in the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous conference and banqueting experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down event spaces according to client needs and hotel standards.
• Assisting with food and beverage service during conferences, banquets, and special events.
• Ensuring tables, buffets, and service areas are well-presented and maintained throughout events.
• Providing attentive and friendly service to guests, responding to their needs efficiently.
• Coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service.
• Clearing tables and resetting spaces for upcoming functions.
• Upholding health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all food and beverage handling.
• Assisting with any additional event duties as required by the banqueting team.
