Job summary

Zinc in London is seeking a Junior Events Manager to bring our events programme to life, partnering with Marketing, Sales and external partners to ensure successful delivery. You’ll be hands-on with planning, logistics, attendee communications and on-the-day delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years of events experience, a strong eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative approach. We offer a dynamic, growth-focused environment with frequent travel to events and team activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in Events, Field Marketing or similar roles, preferably delivering a varied events calendar.
• Must have experience delivering or supporting a trade show or exhibition.
• Highly organised with ability to manage many details and deadlines.
• Proactive and able to take ownership without guidance.
• Calm problem-solver who finds practical solutions.
• Creative mindset focusing on look and feel of events.
• Comfortable with systems and data, especially HubSpot.
• Collaborative and able to work with many teams.
• Willing to be hands-on with setup, on-day delivery and packing down.
• Eager to learn and take on more responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver Zinc’s events calendar across major trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, and sales-led events.
• Own the detail: build timelines, schedules, checklists and run sheets.
• Coordinate event logistics including exhibitor portals, travel, stock, swag, and attendee communications.
• Work with venues, stand suppliers, caterers, and technical teams to deliver events.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Outbound, Creative and Content for attendee materials and on-day activity.
• Assist with event days: setup, run, and pack down.
• Suggest ideas to make events more creative and distinctly Zinc.
• Maintain accurate attendee and lead data in HubSpot and assist with post-event follow-up.
