Job Description

Duties

  • Handle enquiries for events via email or phone during your shift, communicate promptly, and provide replies or confirmations within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Maximize hotel revenue through upselling food, beverages, and rooms.
  • Create and update function sheets and ensure amendments are communicated to relevant departments.
  • Manage budgets to ensure events are profitable.
  • Input reservations and data for group enquiries and bookings promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments for special requests or reservation-related matters.
  • Maintain clear communication with staff regarding group-related topics.
  • Implement and update brand and company standards.
  • Ensure safety and security procedures are current and followed.
  • Promote a positive working environment and team spirit.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.

Customer Relations

  • Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Lead by example in attending to guest requests and striving for total customer satisfaction.
  • Take initiative to ensure positive interactions; involve management if issues arise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to meet departmental and hotel goals.
  • Respect and be sensitive to all customers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Actively promote hotel promotions and facilities to guests.
