Job summary

Crowne Plaza Leeds is seeking a friendly, hands-on Conference & Events Porter to help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will set up event spaces, support the events team, and maintain a welcoming Conference Café throughout the day.

We value a positive attitude, reliability and attention to detail, with a willingness to learn and provide outstanding service across the hotel. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events experience is advantageous.
• Positive attitude with a friendly and professional approach.
• Willingness to learn and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing event spaces: set up Conference and Banqueting rooms to client and hotel standards.
• Supporting the events team to ensure meetings and events run smoothly.
• Maintaining high standards: cleaning and resetting rooms between meetings and events.
• Looking after the Conference Café and keeping it welcoming throughout the day.
• Handling equipment: assist with movement and storage of furniture and event gear.
• Keeping storage areas tidy, safe, and organized; complete end-of-shift procedures.
• Delivering excellent customer service to guests and clients.
• Working across the hotel to support other departments and enhance guest experience.
• Working safely by following health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
