Job summary

Crowne Plaza Leeds is seeking a friendly, hands-on Conference & Events Porter to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll set up spaces, support the events team, and keep areas clean and welcoming throughout the day.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, are reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. Training and progression opportunities are available within Valor Hospitality’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events experience is beneficial.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to adapt to shifting schedules and busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces by setting up rooms to client specifications and hotel standards.
• Support meetings, conferences and banqueting events to run smoothly.
• Clean, reset and replenish rooms between events to high standards.
• Operate the Conference Café area, keeping it welcoming and tidy.
• Move, position and store furniture and equipment safely.
• Maintain organised storage areas and complete end-of-shift wrap-up tasks.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and clients.
• Assist across departments as needed to deliver guest satisfaction.
• Follow health, safety, and food hygiene procedures at all times.
