Job summary

Marriott-Leicester is seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our events team in Leicester. You’ll oversee conferences and weddings, deliver polished service, and ensure every guest experiences exceptional personal attention.

You’ll train and develop staff, liaise with event organisers, manage the department to keep it clean and safe, and support management to sustain high standards. 40 hours across 5 days, including weekends, with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Food & Beverage in hotel or similar settings.
• Strong customer service and guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to lead and train a team across events.

Responsibilities

• Act as a confident role model for new team members.
• Run conferences & events from small meetings to weddings.
• Liaise with event organisers to meet and exceed expectations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with the team.
• Keep the department clean and safe.

What you’ll do

• Act as a confident role model for all new team members whilst taking hands on approach
• Run conferences & events, ranging from small board meetings to weddings – every day is different and all events are tailored to the individuals
• Liaise with event organisers to ensure all expectations are delivered and exceeded
• Work with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Manage your department keeping it clean and safe
• Share personal recommendations to spread your passion for service and event delivery
• Train and develop the team
• Support the management team to deliver consistently high standards
• Manage and lead the team in the absence of the Conference & Banqueting Manager

What we’re looking for

• Previous Food & Beverage supervisory experience in a hotel environment
