Job description

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Hello Partner is a dynamic, independent B2B media company, organising events and award ceremonies across the UK & Europe. Our mission is to deliver world-class experiences, bringing together the entire creator economy and marketing communities. These events are supported by Hello Partner, a subscription-based online news publication and community for the sectors we serve.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Sales Manager with knowledge of influencer marketing and the creator economy to join the growing sales team to work on our creator conferences; converting incoming leads, generating new business, and driving exhibition and sponsorship revenue.

The Candidate

Our ideal candidate will lead from the front, proactively identifying and exploring new opportunities whilst nurturing existing relationships. You will have B2B event sales experience, but really the most important thing is that you have the right attitude, drive, and determination to build successful relationships with key decision-makers within our sector.

You'll be a great rapport builder, possess a consultative sales approach with solid objection handling skills, and won't be afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.

You'll be someone who can own the whole commercial lifecycle, working to consistently exceed revenue targets.

You'll be joining a passionate team, led by our Portfolio Director and supported by our experienced Sales Director, and will be expected to immerse yourself in the industry (attending relevant events etc.) to make the role your own.

You are capable of developing and winning new business whilst continuing to strengthen relationships within an existing client portfolio.

You'll be a strong negotiator and possess exceptional time management and organisational skills to sell our wide portfolio of products.

Key Requirements Overview:

  • Experience in B2B sales with a demonstrable successful sales record
  • Event sales experience
  • Knowledge and interest of the creator industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the creator economy & digital marketing is not essential, but the ability to quickly grasp its fundamentals will be! Integrity and being a team player are equally key
  • Flexible and able to work at pace within a highly demanding and at times pressurised environment
  • Outstanding communicator, comfortable selling to senior decision makers/budget holders
  • Consultative approach with a strong closing capability
  • CRM experience (we use HubSpot)
  • Hunger to exceed targets with a tenacious attitude
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

Benefits

  • 24 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service
  • Holiday exchange programme
  • Health cash plan and wellness programme
  • Hybrid working
  • A lovely team to work with and a friendly and professional work culture!

  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Regular fruit boxes, cake Wednesday and sundowner team drinks
  • Central Bristol offices
