The Balmoral in Edinburgh is seeking an Event Planner to coordinate a wide range of events from enquiries to execution. You will work with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery for both private celebrations and corporate gatherings.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of the location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

Join our events team and help create memorable experiences for our guests. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social celebrations.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Plan and organise events from the initial enquiry to execution, bringing them to life from private celebrations to corporate gatherings

• Manage all incoming business for meetings and events, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for every guest.

• Maximise all enquiries and bookings by converting them into revenue opportunities.

• Communicate and liaise with relevant teams to ensure a flawless execution of the events

• Collaborate with all departments across thehotel to enhance service delivery for our discerning guests

• Maintain accurate records of bookings, contacts, and guest preferences to ensure smooth operations
