As a leader in a luxury setting, you will drive excellence, communicate progress, and manage stock levels within budget; a discretionary service charge enhances the overall package.

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your Key Responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

The successful Supervisor will have a particular focus on the Linen Porters and House Porters, coordinating daily tasks, monitoring standards, and ensuring that responsibilities are clearly allocated and completed efficiently.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Oversee the team's workflow, ensuring good cooperation across departments
• Support team members to ensure that five-star service standards are maintained at all times
• Deliver discreet, understated, tailored, and timely service whilst sharing your knowledge and best practice with the team
• Remain focused on delivering excellence
• Be knowledgeable of the hotel and our products, and actively seek opportunities to promote them
• Communicate regularly on the progress of tasks and consistently deliver on time to an excellent standard
• Maintain stronger operational control andE improve stock management
• Support the department in delivering the increased linen requirements associated with the planned daily linen change.

The salary of our Housekeeping Supervisor is £34,500 gross per annum (the expected package will be the salary plus the discretionary service charge)
