The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel, on Princes Street in Edinburgh, invites applications for a Night Front Office Supervisor to lead the night team and ensure a seamless overnight operation.

You will be the first point of contact for guests during the night, manage the night audit, and deliver the discreet, personalised service that defines our luxury standards. Experience in a front office supervisory role is preferred; nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front office supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Night Manager and supervise the night team.
• Ensure the seamless running of the overnight Front Office.
• Be the first point of contact for guests during the night shift.
• Create a memorable and personalised experience from arrival to departure.
• Complete the night audit procedures and ensure accurate handover reports.
• Deliver discreet service that meets The Balmoral's exceptional standards.

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your Key Responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of the location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Work alongside the Night Manager and be responsible for the other Night Team Members
• Help to ensure the seamless running of the overnight Front Office
• Be the first point of contact for our guests during the night shift with the highest level of customer service
• Be responsible for creating a memorable and personalised experience for all our guests from arrival to departure
• Complete the night audit procedures, ensuring accuracy of reports for handover
• Deliver a discreet service that exceeds the exceptional standards set by The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel
• Proven experience in a front office supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment, is preferable, but not essential
• Ability to work nights and weekends

This role is from 20:00 to 08:00, but may vary.

Expected package £32,000 gross per annum (£27k-£28K salary plus discretionary service charge)
