Job description

Overview:
Actaris are looking for a dynamic Event Operations Manager to lead the planning and delivery of events This person will ensure the smooth, safe, and professional execution of events across sport, hospitality, and community activities. They will manage a team, including an Event Manager responsible for individual event delivery.

Location: HA8 6AG
Salary: 40,000 basic + 20,000 performance-based bonus (OTE 60,000)
Hours: 46 hours per week (16 fixed + 30 flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end planning and delivery of all events on site.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.
  • Lead pre-event briefings, event-day operations, and post-event reviews.
  • Manage event staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor compliance with safety, licensing, and crowd management standards.
  • Report on event performance and continuously improve event delivery processes.
  • Direct line management of Event Manager and coordination with other operational leads.
