An international leader in the events industry is looking to add an experienced creative event operations manager to their central team.

This role is an opportunity to shape the delivery and format of their global large scale conference series.

Utilising all your experience, you will manage two junior members of the team and bring fresh creative ideas to the table that transform the event experience.

The Event Operations Manager will:

  • Take a holistic approach to the operational aspects of their events, focused on wider transformation and collaboration across all aspects of the business.
  • Lead the processes of venue sourcing, stakeholder briefing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Work closely with the sponsorship team to provide tailored and unique experiences to high value stakeholders while adapting the event experience to an evolving audience.
  • Act as a point of contact for sponsors and speakers, both on-site and in the run up to an event.
  • Manage two junior event executives and lead the delivery and team of your events.

The ideal candidate:

  • 5 years’ experience in B2B event operations as a minimum.
  • Experience managing a small team or having direct reports.
  • A track record of delivering events outside of Europe is essential.
  • Varied experience across your career with exposure to different event environments is beneficial.
  • An adaptable lateral thinker, they are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and shake up the traditional event format.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working to deadlines and autonomously.
