Bradford Council is recruiting a Youth Support Worker Leader In Charge for 30 hours per week, based at the Bradford South Office and delivering the Youth Offer across Bradford District, with evening sessions 5pm–9pm and some weekends.

You will lead on youth work delivery, build relationships with young people aged 11–19 (up to 25 for some) and ensure safety, equality and wellbeing through open access sessions.

Formación

• Must have JNC 3 qualification.
• Experience of working with young people in a variety of settings.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and regulations including risks in Youth Work.
• Uses a range of basic IT packages.

Responsabilidades

• To initiate and develop relationships with 11–19 year olds and up to 25 year olds for young people with disabilities.
• To work directly with young people to enable them to broaden their horizons and engage in positive activities.
• To support the design and develop youth work responses underpinned by the Youth Service cornerstones of Equality, Participation, Education and Empowerment.
• To support the development and delivery of the Youth Offer that is informed by the voice of young people and is able to meet their needs.
