City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking a Youth Support Worker Leader In Charge to support the delivery of the Youth Offer as part of an area team, working multiple evenings each week. You must be able to work 5pm–9pm and some weekends.

You will initiate and develop relationships with young people aged 11–19 (up to 25 for those with disabilities) and help design youth work responses under the Youth Service pillars of Equality, Participation, Education and Empowerment.

Qualifikationen

• Must have JNC 3 qualification.
• Experience of working with young people in a variety of settings.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental policies and regulations in Youth Work.
• Uses a range of basic IT packages.
• Committed to continual improvement and efficient service delivery.
• Keeps personal information safe and confidential.
• Understanding of equality of opportunity and voluntary participation in youth work.
• Ability to develop youth work responses and deliver the Youth Offer.

Aufgaben

• Support on the delivery of the Youth Offer as part of an area team.
• Work multiple evenings each week (5pm–9pm) and some weekends.
• Develop relationships with young people aged 11–19 (up to 25 for those with disabilities).
• Assist in designing and delivering youth work responses under the Youth Service cornerstones.
• Work as part of a team to deliver youth work and improve service delivery.
• Based at Bradford South Office but cover across the Bradford District.
