Job summary

Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy is seeking a hardworking and reliable Evening Cleaner to join the premises team. The role is 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week across 43 weeks per year, including 39 weeks term time and 20 days during school holidays.

You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. Key duties include cleaning across the academy, deep cleaning in holidays, adhering to COSHH requirements, and maintaining health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or domestic duties preferred.
• Able to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks across the academy, including deep cleaning during holiday periods.
• Maintain health and safety standards and report concerns promptly.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely in line with COSHH requirements.
• Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and duties.
• Work as part of a team to keep the academy clean, safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors.
