Job summary

Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy is seeking a hardworking and reliable Evening Cleaner to join the premises team. The role is 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week across 43 weeks per year, including 39 weeks term time and 20 days during school holidays.

You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. Key duties include cleaning across the academy, deep cleaning in holidays, adhering to COSHH requirements, and maintaining health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or domestic duties preferred.
• Able to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Good time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks across the academy, including deep cleaning during holiday periods.
• Maintain health and safety standards and report concerns promptly.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely in line with COSHH requirements.
• Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and duties.

At Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy we are seeking a hardworking and reliable Evening Cleaner to join our dedicated premises team for 3 hours per day, 15 hours per week across 43 weeks per year (39 weeks term time including inset days and 20 days during school holidays), The Evening Cleaner helps to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out cleaning tasks throughout the Academy, including deep cleaning during holiday periods
• Maintaining health and safety standards and reporting any concerns
• Handling cleaning chemicals safely and in line with COSHH requirements
• Following all Academy policies and procedures
