Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across our academy buildings. You will carry out daily cleaning duties, handle equipment and chemicals safely, and report any site hazards to ensure a welcoming environment for students and staff.

Working hours are 3:15pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, providing part-time evening cover within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Daily Cleaning: Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise academy rooms and washrooms.
• Safety & Care: Follow safety legislation, use chemicals correctly, and keep equipment and storage areas tidy.
• Reporting & Teamwork: Promptly report any facility faults or risks to the Site Manager and provide helpful customer service.
