Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is a renowned destination with 450+ rooms, vibrant dining options, and a high-standard leisure and spa experience. We’re expanding our team and seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join The Ryder Grill and other outlets, delivering memorable guest experiences in a busy resort environment.

Role involves late nights and weekend shifts. Training is provided; previous bar/restaurant experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy bar or restaurant preferred, but you don’t need experience to start your career with The Belfry.
• You will welcome all guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• You will deliver a great experience from beginning to end.
• You will confidently talk about our menus and take orders while ensuring guest needs are met.

Responsibilities

• As a food and beverage assistant, duties include all those of a waiter.
• To welcome all guests a polite and friendly manner.
• To deliver a great experience from beginning to end.
• To confidently talk about our menus.
• To take orders from our guests and proactively ensure that all their needs are met.
• Cleaning and good hygiene practices are a large part of this role.
• To work across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure the smooth running of the resort as a whole.
