Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to kickstart mornings and support weekend services. You will greet guests, take orders, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere across our outlets, delivering memorable experiences from start to finish.

Training is provided through Belfry Campus with hands-on coaching and in-house programmes; we also offer wellbeing support and opportunities to develop within the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy bar or restaurant preferred.
• Passionate about delivering fantastic service to guests.
• Enjoys engaging in conversation and talking about products.
• Natural at selling and energetic.
• Outward and proactive with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

TheRyder Restaurant morning team kickstart the day at The Belfry with energy,precision, and warmth. From preparing the restaurant for breakfast to creatinga welcoming atmosphere for our guests, this team sets the tone for anexceptional day ahead. Attention to detail, teamwork, and passion forhospitality ensure every morning or afternoon service runs smoothly and leavesguests ready to start their day inspired.

The salary for this role is £12.71 per hour, plus tips.

About the role

This role will require early mornings in the week and weekend working.

• Asa food and beverage assistant, your duties include all those of a waiter
• Towelcome all guests a polite and friendly manner
• Todeliver a great experience from beginning to end
• Toconfidently talk about our menus
• Totake orders from our guests and proactively ensure that all their needs are met
• Cleaningand good hygiene practices are a large part of this role
• Towork across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure thesmooth running of the resort as a whole.

About you

Previous experience in a busybar or restaurant would be preferred, but you don’t need experience to startyour career with us at The Belfry Hotel and Resort. We have a great team thatwill train you give you all of the skills you need to be successful. If you dohave previous experience that’s great, we will take your skills and elevatethem in a department where you feel you would be the best fit.
