Job summary

Lakeside Hotel & Spa, part of Classic Lodges, is seeking an Evening Cleaner in Ulverston. You will work mainly in the evenings to keep communal areas, pool and spa facilities clean and welcoming, and assist with bedroom servicing when required.

You’ll be part of a supportive housekeeping team, with a focus on hygiene, safety and guest satisfaction. Full training will be provided and a valuable benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards across communal and public areas.

• Replenish supplies and ensure areas are well presented.
• Report maintenance issues or items needing attention.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

The Opportunity

As an Evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for helping maintain the high standards that make Lakeside Hotel & Spa a leading destination in the Lake District. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and likes seeing the results of a job well done. Working mainly during the evening, you will ensure our public areas, swimming pool, spa facilities and changing rooms remain clean, safe and welcoming for guests. You’ll also support the housekeeping team with bedroom servicing when required, making sure the hotel is ready for the following day. This is a varied role where no two shifts are the same. You’ll work independently and as part of a supportive team, helping to maintain the presentation and smooth running of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout communal and public areas.
• Cleaning and preparing the swimming pool, spa facilities and changing rooms.
• Carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks and evening checks across the hotel.
