Job summary

Red Rose Care is seeking Home Care Assistants for Preston evenings. You will visit clients at home to provide personalised care, including washing, dressing, and medication, while supporting independent living and following each client’s routines.

Shifts are typically 5pm–10:30pm (some flexibility). A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, as staff travel between homes throughout the shift. Training and shadowing are provided to build confidence.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own car.
• Ability to travel between clients’ homes during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to provide personalised care.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and continence care, medication, meals and light housekeeping.
• Promote independence and support routines important to the client.
• Receive training and shadowing until confident in duties.
