Job summary

Red Rose Care in South Ribble is seeking Evening Home Care Assistants who can visit clients in their own homes across Preston, Chorley and South Ribble. You’ll support with personal care, help with medication reminders, meals and daily routines, and promote independence with a friendly, dignified approach.

Shifts run from 5pm to 10:30pm (some roles start at 3pm). A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential, as you’ll travel between visits.

Qualifications

• Eligible for UK driving positions
• Own car and business-use insurance may be required
• 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their own homes across South Ribble.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
• Support medication administration and reminders.
• Prepare meals and help around the home.
• Promote independence and build trusting relationships.
