Job summary

Red Rose Care is hiring a Home Care Assistant for South Ribble overnights, drivers only. You’ll visit clients in their homes, provide personal care, and support daily routines. Nights involve settling, toileting, turning and staying present until morning. Shifts run 10pm–7am with a mix of waking nights and sleep-ins.

Applicants need a full UK driving licence and access to a car. Training is provided, with paid DBS and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• 18 years of age or over.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their own homes across South Ribble to provide personal care and support.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, continence care, meals and household tasks.
• Promote independence, offer choice and build trusted relationships.
• Receive full induction, ongoing training and shadow experienced team members.
• Work night shifts (10pm–7am) with waking nights or sleep-ins.
