Job summary

Red Rose Care is hiring a Home Care Assistant to cover South Ribble in the mornings, starting as early as 7am and finishing around lunchtime. You will visit clients in their own homes, assisting with personal care, meals and daily routines, while promoting independence and building trusted relationships.

Full UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential; business-use insurance is required. The role offers training, DBS processing, and potential progression within the care team.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own car (business-use insurance required).
• 18 years or over.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their own homes across South Ribble, providing care tailored to each person’s routines.
• Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, meals and general home support.
• Promote independence and support daily living as part of a trusted relationship.
• Receive full induction and shadow experienced team members until confident.
