Job summary

Warner Hotels is seeking a Duty Manager to lead on‑duty operations from 5pm to 10pm. You will oversee reception, housekeeping, F&B and night operations, maintaining high guest service standards and ensuring safety. You will motivate teams, resolve issues quickly, and uphold licensing and health & safety rules during shifts.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in hospitality, excellent communication, and a calm, decisive leadership style under pressure.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge within the F&B departments to be able to support on shift.
• Excellent customer service track record.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Confident decision-maker.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible management presence across guest areas and proactively engage with guests; resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Lead from the front; ensure smooth running of all departments during shifts.
• Monitor bars, restaurants and entertainment areas for consistent service standards.
• Attend to safety and security: first aid incidents, fire & safety compliance, and hazards.
• Coach and support supervisors; maintain cross-department communication.
• Monitor energy use and control costs while protecting guest experience.
