Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Cirencester is recruiting a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose quality produce and Partner-led service to customers’ doors. You’ll start in-store and then drive, loading orders, delivering to customers and helping with shop tasks.

Hours are 13.5 hours across two days (Mon & Sat, 13:45–21:30). Pay is £14.31 per hour with a Night Premium for 22:00–06:00 shifts. DBS checks may be required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK B-category manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills and time management.
• Able to cope with physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Independent and self-motivated with adaptability.
• IT literate and comfortable using basic devices.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes and drive to customer addresses.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries and ensure orders are complete.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and comply with road safety rules.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with a focus on customer service.
• Assist shop team with general tasks when required.
