Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to meet customers in their homes, providing excellent service with a smile. The role is hands-on, varied, and often independent, with support from managers back at base.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour and rises to £15.45 within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours weekly and some roles from 12 hours. You will be responsible for delivering orders, loading the van safely, and keeping customers informed throughout the process, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work evenings/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area tidy and organized to ensure orders arrive in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions calmly and help with refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care and maintain customer trust and satisfaction.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with friendly doorstep service.
