Job summary

Co-op is looking for Customer Team Members in Blackpool to join a friendly store team. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week with overtime, and includes full paid training. You’ll assist customers, stock shelves, and handle tills while supporting community initiatives.

Shift pattern is 3pm-10pm, with weekend work and an interview to discuss mix of store hours. A positive attitude and interest in retail are welcome; training is provided.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Hands-on on the shop floor and tills, contributing to daily operations to create a great shopping experience.
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Keep the store safe and legal - ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
