Job summary

Altus Education Partnership is seeking an Evening Cleaner to join our team at the school in Heywood. You will clean classrooms, offices, corridors and restrooms to a high standard, performing routine tasks and replenishing supplies as needed.

The role requires reliability and attention to detail, with safeguarding duties and an enhanced DBS disclosure as part of the candidate selection process.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
• Replenish consumable items (e.g., soap, toilet paper) as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
• Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will work as part of a supportive team to uphold the high standards of the Academy.

1 x Evening Cleaner - 4pm - 7pm - Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and restrooms.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
