Job summary

Dalkia is hiring a Cleaner at Oakwood Academy in Eccles to support cleaning across our facilities management contract, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. You will help uphold high cleaning standards and work as part of a team.

The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday after school hours (term time) with additional hours during half terms. You will follow schedules and safety guidelines to maintain a healthy environment.

Cleaner

Location: Oakwood Academy, Eccles, M30

Hours: 15 hours per week: Monday – Friday 3pm – 6pm (term time)

Monday – Friday, 9am – 12pm half terms

About the Role

We are looking for a Cleaner to support the delivery of cleaning services across our Facilities Management contract. You'll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers, visitors and colleagues while ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.

You'll be supporting a school where cleanliness, presentation and service standards are key priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning duties across designated areas
  • Clean and sanitise offices, washrooms and communal spaces
  • Replenish consumables and cleaning supplies
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and materials
  • Follow cleaning schedules and site procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, damages or hazards
