Job summary

Ebor Academy Trust is seeking a part-time Cleaner to support a clean and healthy school environment. The role runs 10 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 4pm–6pm) during term time plus two weeks in the school holidays. Training and DBS checks will be provided as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

Salary: £13.28 per hour

The aim of the role is to provide a good quality cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the school, resulting in a clean and healthy environment for pupils and staff. Some responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;

• Emptying waste bins
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms
• Wiping down and dusting furniture
• Maintaining office/reception area

Job requirements

• To be able to work well within a team
• The ability to communicate well with everyone in the school community
• Excellent time keeping skills and been a reliable member of the team
• Experience would be beneficial however it is not essential as full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate
