Driveway Vehicle Solutions, Derby, is expanding its EV sales team with a focus on Salary Sacrifice. The Sales Specialist will guide customers through the switch to electric, qualify needs, and manage from enquiry to delivery in a hybrid role with two days in the office.

The position emphasizes communicating the benefits of Salary Sacrifice to customers and employers, building lasting relationships, and contributing to the EV proposition with feedback and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a B2C environment.
• Experience working in a digital or tech-led sales process (CRM essential).
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional service.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.
• Proactive, inquisitive approach to identifying customer needs.
• Passion for sustainability and enthusiasm for electric vehicles.
• Experience in fleet, leasing, or salary sacrifice schemes is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engage with inbound and outbound customer leads, qualifying needs and recommending the ideal electric vehicle.
• Manage the full sales journey—from initial conversation through to vehicle handover.
• Champion our salary sacrifice product and clearly explain its advantages to customers and employers.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and manage orders in progress.
• Provide excellent aftersales care, ensuring every customer enjoys a first-class experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop your sales pipeline and build long-term customer relationships.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our EV proposition through insights and customer feedback.
