Octane Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain, and repair vehicles at customers' homes or work locations.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.30am–5pm with occasional Saturdays, and generous overtime and bonus potential. The package includes overtime up to £5k annually, a performance bonus up to £6k, 33 days holiday, pension contributions up to 6.5%, life insurance, career progression, a car salary sacrifice scheme,

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles in a workshop or mobile role.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Customer-focused approach and full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (e.g. driveway, car park).
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and software.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers.
• Handle payments through card transactions and maintain records of work.
