Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking skilled mechanics in Stirling to safely prepare customers' cars for the road ahead. You will work with a range of manufacturers, performing servicing, repairs and diagnostics with pride and accuracy.

The role offers a salary of £40,000–£50,000 DOE plus benefits, with overtime paid at time and a half and potential performance bonuses up to £9,000 every three years. Training to become an EV accredited technician is provided, along with generous leave and a supportive

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail required.
• Able to follow written and spoken instructions and meet deadlines.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues with diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road test vehicles after repairs to verify work.
• Maintain equipment and keep tools in good condition.
• Follow checklists to complete procedures and documentation.
