Qualifications
- Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and relevant automotive experience.
- Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver work to high standards and deadlines.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach with ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
- Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
- Carry out DVSA vehicle testing if authorised.
- Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure roadworthiness.
- Keep equipment and tools in good condition and follow checklists.
