Job summary

SWARCO Smart Mobility Solutions / EVOLT Charging Ltd is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to service and repair EV charging stations across the M4 corridor, Swindon and surrounding areas from home base. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support installations with remote assistance as needed.

The role covers maintenance, fault finding, and customer support, with on-call duties and a competitive package including a company vehicle, training, and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical support or field service engineering.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily servicing and maintenance of EV charging stations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, hardware, software and network faults.
• Complete repairs including replacement of faulty parts and components.
• Support installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, upgrades and warranty activities.
• Provide remote technical assistance to customers and field teams.
• Maintain service records and vehicle mileage logs.
