Job summary

SWARCO Smart Mobility Solutions / EVOLT Charging Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair EV charging infrastructure. The role involves on-site and remote support, fault finding, repairs and ongoing maintenance across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.

You will join a hands-on technical team, with full training provided, and contribute to service levels while working in a hybrid setup from home and on-site locations. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience in a technical role.
• Experience diagnosing electrical, hardware and software faults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily servicing and maintenance of EV charging stations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, hardware, software and network faults.
• Complete repairs and replace faulty components.
• Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and warranty activities.
• Provide remote technical assistance to customers and field teams.
• Maintain service records and vehicle mileage.
