Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is recruiting for a skilled mechanic at our Birtley store. You will service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles with care and precision, using diagnostics to identify issues and ensuring high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive repair and servicing.
• Good communication and accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues with diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good condition.
