Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Grangemouth is looking for a skilled mechanic to safely service, repair and maintain vehicles for a diverse range of manufacturers. You’ll work as part of a capable, motivated team and take pride in high standards.

The package includes £40,000–£50,000 DOE plus benefits, overtime paid at time and a half, and the opportunity to earn up to £9,000 in performance bonuses every three years. Other rewards include 33 days of annual leave, flexible hours, private healthcare, EV

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 or equivalent.
• Solid automotive industry experience required.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts.
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are in good condition.
• Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
• Completing all documentation to required standard.
