Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to prepare cars for the road, work on a wide range of models and stay up to date with the latest vehicle tech. You’ll join a capable team focused on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• A certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and perform DVSA testing when authorised.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain tools and equipment, follow checklists, and complete documentation.
