Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is looking for a skilled mechanic at West Bromwich Motorstore to service, repair and maintain vehicles to the highest standards, and diagnose issues with modern diagnostic equipment.

You will join a capable team, enjoy flexible hours and generous leave, private healthcare, and ongoing training to become an EV accredited technician, with a salary of £40,000–£50,000 DOE plus benefits and the chance to earn up to £9,000 in performance bonuses every three years.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Ability to work on your own or in a busy team.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Diagnose issues using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised) and road tests.
• Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Complete documentation to required standard.
