Arnold Clark is seeking a skilled mechanic at Linwood Prep Centre in the United Kingdom. You will service and repair vehicles, diagnose issues with advanced diagnostic tools, and work to exacting standards across a range of manufacturers and models.

We offer a salary in the £40,000–£50,000 DOE range, generous annual leave, overtime at time and a half, EV accreditation training, private healthcare, and family-friendly maternity/paternity packages.

Formación

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a busy team or independently.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach with a focus on high standards.
• Ability to accurately follow written and spoken instructions.
• Full driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues with diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing defective parts.
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition.
• Following checklists to complete procedures.
• Completing documentation to required standard.
